Requirements

Applicants must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
An armed guard card or license is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles as required by site protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol and during all assigned duties, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
