As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a highly visible presence. Your role includes engaging with visitors and staff to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols to address security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and observe for any irregularities or suspicious activity within the government location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal standards.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related incidents while carrying an authorized firearm in accordance with company and legal guidelines.
