As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves interacting with the public, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to situations as they arise. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter security-related incidents.
Report and document any unusual incidents, observations, or activities according to company and client protocols.
Work collaboratively with local authorities and/or other personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity within the location.
Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
