As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves interacting with the public, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to situations as they arise. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
  • Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Report and document any unusual incidents, observations, or activities according to company and client protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and/or other personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity within the location.
  • Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
