As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols across the location, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service with clear communication and professionalism. This is an armed, driving post requiring an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Join a team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities while maintaining proper armed post readiness in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation when appropriate and timely notification of site contacts and/or public responders.
• Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitors, vehicles, and deliveries, verifying authorization, and/or directing individuals according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed, accurate reports and logs regarding patrol activity, incidents, and other security-related observations, and communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site management.
