About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized entry while following post orders and applicable use of force guidelines.
Support site operations by preparing accurate reports, maintaining awareness of sensitive areas and materials, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.
