Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Full-Time in Emporia, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with employees and visitors, offer exceptional customer service, and uphold our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while maintaining a secure environment.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
