You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activity while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or operational issues according to site protocols.
Support incident response and de-escalation efforts while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity, theft, and/or trespassing across the location.
