About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Corsicana, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist customers and store teams with clear communication and professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and Level III armed certification in Texas, offering a dynamic role for those who thrive on teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, loading and receiving areas, parking lots, and the exterior of the location, as assigned.
Respond to alarms, calls for service, disturbances, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Monitor entrances, controlled access points, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and/or other policy violations, while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and/or patrol documentation, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal management and on-site client representatives.
