Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with client personnel and local law enforcement when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the tech and media environment.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site-specific protocols.
