This armed and driving post involves conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism while armed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and support site security-related protocols.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and emergencies.
