As an Armed Patrol Officer at this aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact professionally with staff and visitors. This post requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential risks.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Operate as an armed security professional, following all applicable protocols and regulations for handling and carrying firearms.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency situations by following established procedures.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
