You will conduct routine patrols, including bike patrol, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout commercial real estate locations, including lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting medical calls, disturbances, trespass situations, and alarms, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Operate within Allied Universal and site policies for armed posts, including maintaining required firearms credentials, completing post orders, and using appropriate force options consistent with training.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document security-related incidents and observations, and communicate pertinent information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
