About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols at a financial institution location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your responsibilities. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and embody our values of integrity, reliability, and teamwork every day.

Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
Remain alert to potential threats or unusual circumstances within the location, promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential criminal activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
