As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires carrying a concealed weapon and operating a vehicle as part of your duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, respond to incidents, and contribute to a secure environment, all while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report observations according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
Handle access control and verify identification as required for entry to restricted areas.
Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while carrying out armed patrol duties.
