About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site procedures and government location requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or responding personnel.
