About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

2 or more years of security-related experience are required.
1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience are required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or observed conditions, and communicate with local authorities, site contacts, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
