About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Agent in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as required.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to established procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with location staff and public officials as appropriate to address security-related matters.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, following Allied Universal protocols and client site directives.
