Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Complete detailed reports regarding observations, incidents, and activities during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations or emergencies.
Operate communication devices and security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Remain alert to potential threats and/or suspicious activity within the transportation environment and report findings to appropriate personnel.
