As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting findings as required.
Assist in helping to deter criminal activity and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents, concerns, or requests for assistance.
Follow all site-specific protocols related to access control, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures.
Support a welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors by providing helpful information and assistance as needed.
