As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, complete clear reports, and communicate with site teams and visitors with professionalism. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, badges, vehicle credentials, and/or delivery documentation; direct visitors and drivers to appropriate check-in and staging areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed while following use-of-force guidelines.
  • Complete written reports and shift logs, document observations and incident details, and communicate status updates to supervision and site leadership.
