As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document activity, collaborate with site teams, and deliver customer-focused support. Requirements

• Hold a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and post orders, and/or assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, loading areas, and critical infrastructure spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other site systems, assess unusual conditions, and take appropriate action within scope, including notifying site contacts and/or dispatching public emergency services when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing verbal direction, documenting observations, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Complete detailed reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and coordinate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to support continuity of operations and adherence to site policies.
