As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address concerns as they arise.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any irregularities.
Monitor access points, entrances, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect valuable assets within a technology-focused environment.
Document and report all observed incidents, suspicious activities, and maintenance issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment.
Remain alert to changing conditions and potential threats in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location.
