As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer-focused support to team members and visitors. Requirements

Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and control entry for employees, visitors, and contractors, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor instructions, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical situations, and/or property concerns, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
