As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing access, and monitoring activity through cameras and reports. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License, where clear communication and calm decision-making support a professional, service-focused environment. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge OR an associates degree with 60 college credits OR a police academy certificate OR a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control points, and visitor flow to help to deter unauthorized entry; verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Answer phones and greet employees, guests, and vendors; provide directions and general assistance while maintaining a professional front desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate personnel and document events according to post orders.
• Complete required reports and shift documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and dispatch notes, using clear and accurate written communication.
