About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Lobby Desk in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will maintain a visible presence, manage access control, and assist visitors and staff. This is an armed position where you will use technology to support security-related protocols while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Active Level III Armed Security License is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or clients in a professional manner at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access control systems and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by the location.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and on-site contacts regarding security-related matters and potential concerns.
  • Follow emergency response protocols and assist in coordinating responses to incidents or alarms as directed by site-specific guidelines.
  • Support a welcoming and secure environment by providing customer service while carrying out security-related procedures specific to a financial institution.
