Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an armed Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this stationary role, you will help support a professional environment through strong presence, sound judgment, and security-related awareness, while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture built on caring, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and access permissions, and document visitor arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, and support badge, sign-in, and visitor management processes while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns at the front desk.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, reporting suspicious behavior, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
