As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a healthcare location. Position Type: Part Time 3+ years combined law enforcement or military or Security experience - Must be 21+ years old Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgement to address issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders to support a secure environment and facilitate appropriate response to incidents.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location while carrying authorized equipment in accordance with armed post requirements.
Follow all procedures related to the handling and storage of weapons as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
