About The Position

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols at a leading aerospace and defense location. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and de-escalation techniques.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of access control requirements specific to the location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations or alarms, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats or disruptions within the location, particularly in an aerospace or defense environment.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications for armed patrol duties.
