As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine armed patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations as needed. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise on site.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
Follow all protocols for handling and carrying a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development related to healthcare security protocols and emergency response.
