Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within healthcare locations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
Monitor for any suspicious behavior or security-related risks within the healthcare environment and promptly communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control measures, including verifying identification and/or credentials for visitors and staff as required by site policies.
Support medical staff, patients, and visitors by providing information and assistance as needed, while maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to situations that may require intervention, while adhering to all Allied Universal and healthcare facility guidelines.
