About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Willingboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, responding to situations as needed, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting a caring and people-first culture. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid New Jersey RPO certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to company and site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and/or disturbances, following established protocols.
