Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license as required by the client.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in compliance with company policies and training requirements.
