About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols in Nashville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or activities within the location.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or breaches of site policies.
Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents as required.
Follow all site-specific protocols for armed patrol posts, including the proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.
