Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Maintain a visible and professional presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
