Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This armed position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
Applicants must provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or have an associate degree or sixty college credits or possess a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter breaches and respond appropriately to any suspicious behavior or activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or drills.
Maintain a visible presence while patrolling to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
