Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol - Full Time in Lillington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires both carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will be a visible presence, supporting a secure environment and embodying our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity as you interact with staff and visitors.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as instructed by Allied Universal.
Provide customer service to all individuals at the location, assisting with inquiries and offering guidance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Participate in emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment.
