About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of all persons entering and exiting the premises.
Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary, following all protocols and communication guidelines.
Maintain a professional presence while carrying assigned equipment and/or firearms, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.
