As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help prevent potential issues, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associates Degree or 60 College Credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any unusual circumstances.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical situations or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and the public while helping to deter disruptive behavior.
