As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required for incidents occurring at the location.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while carrying out all assigned duties, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
