As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Vehicle in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves driving throughout the assigned area and interacting with the public, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must provide one of the following: DD214 with honorable discharge, associate's degree or 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed in accordance with established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and the location's protocols.
Remain alert and attentive while carrying out assigned duties to help to deter potential threats and support a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
