About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Facility Driver in Homestead, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. This dynamic post involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties. Requirements

Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activities and report findings according to established protocols.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel when required.
Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Maintain readiness to respond to security-related emergencies, utilizing provided equipment and training as necessary.
