Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with patrol frequency and routes determined by site requirements.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain awareness of the environment and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Interact with visitors, staff, and/or the public in a professional manner while upholding security-related protocols.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Follow all site-specific post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal leadership and site management.
