As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the location.
Work collaboratively with local authorities and Allied Universal management when required.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other equipment in accordance with company and location-specific guidelines.
Document all incidents and/or activities in accurate and timely reports as directed by Allied Universal policies.
