As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to respond promptly to incidents and interact professionally with the public. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report observations promptly.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public as required.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and guidelines as well as those established for the specific government environment.
Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents.
Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports as required.
