As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Must be 21+ years old
Armed CLEET license
Work all shifts and all days of the week
Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required by state and/or local law.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity to help to deter unauthorized access or criminal behavior.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and patrol activities.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Enforce access control procedures and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to any situation requiring armed intervention in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
