As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with clients and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and communication, while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every aspect of your role.

Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to address issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Maintain a visible presence within the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and clients.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying identification and authorizations as required.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols for armed posts within financial institution environments.
Remain alert and attentive while on duty, maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies or security-related incidents.
