As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed in response to incidents at the location.
  • Remain alert and observant while carrying out patrols to identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment, including firearms, and follow all applicable regulations and Allied Universal policies regarding armed security-related duties.
