Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Federal Rover in Homestead, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government public transportation location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle-area patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents while supporting a positive rider and employee experience. You will communicate clearly with staff and first responders, document security-related activity, and help to reduce disruptions through presence and professionalism. This post requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a commitment to act with integrity. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to riders, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific post orders, and security-related protocols at a government transit location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, transit centers, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify irregular conditions and report concerns per policy. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with transit personnel and local law enforcement as directed. Control access to restricted areas by checking credentials, monitoring entrances and/or gates, and supporting screening procedures when assigned. Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activity, and observed conditions; preserve information and/or evidence in accordance with site procedures and legal requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
