You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities appropriate for an aerospace and defense location.
  • Carry and handle assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing, training, and post orders, helping to deter prohibited activity while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production and/or office areas, parking lots, and perimeter zones, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions per policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical situations, and/or disturbances, and coordinate with on-site personnel and public responders as directed.
  • Monitor entry points, check identification and authorization, manage visitor processing, and complete required security-related logs, reports, and incident documentation.
