Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address various scenarios.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the assigned area.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during shifts as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and needs of the location.
